Questions

About the alerts

How often will you email me?
When the clock resets, which is usually a few times a week, and a short Log every Sunday. If several things happen in one day, they come in one email.
Who decides what counts?
We log incidents that stop or break something British households rely on: banks and payments, power, water, phones and broadband, shops, transport, hospitals and government. Each one is confirmed by the organisation involved, an official body or at least two reputable news outlets, and every entry links to its source.
Is this scaremongering?
No. Everything on the Log happened and is sourced. Most incidents never reach your home. The point is the pace: the more often systems fail, the more often one failure reaches the front door.
Do you sell my email?
Never. We use it to send the alerts and, occasionally, news about T-MINUS kits. See our privacy notice.
